The Nissan Micra is a five-door tourism, Nissan has not planned the commercialization of a variant of three doors-whose body is 4.00 meters in length. It is 17 cm longer than the model it replaces, the Nissan Micra 2014, and is available with three engines, two gasoline (73 and 90 hp) and one diesel (90 hp). It is for sale for 13,500 euros with the gasoline engine of 73 hp and for 17,800 euros with Diesel (all prices). The first units will be delivered to customers in March 2017.

The 90 hp engines are the same as Renault used in the Clio and are the only ones that have an automatic stop and start system in the arrests (Start / Stop). The change is in all cases 5 speed manual. In 2018 Nissan will give the opportunity to buy the Micra with an automatic gearbox, although at the moment it has not communicated with which engine.
I have driven the two 90 hp engines and, as in the Clio, I think it is more advisable to get the Diesel before the gasoline. Performance refinement is similar on both engines, but Diesel consumes less fuel and gives the feeling that it accelerates more strongly. The price of the petrol version is 1700 euros lower than that of Diesel (with current fuel prices, it takes about 90,000 to offset that extra expense; comparative tab). Regardless of the engine, the Micra has a firmer than soft suspension and agile curved reactions.
The average consumption approved with the petrol engine of 90 hp is 4.4 l / 100 km (with the 73 hp the average consumption is identical). This is a higher figure than that of a SEAT Ibiza 1.0 TSI 95 hp (4.2 l / 100 km). A 90-hp Mazda2 SKYACTIV-G and a Peugeot 208 PureTech of 82 hp consume more (both 4.5 l / 100 km). The cabin is made with materials that convey a good impression of quality and the layout of the controls and the different systems is the correct one to get its handling in a short time. There are five levels of equipment: Visia, Visia +, Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna. Nissan says that with this personalization offer, 125 different combinations can be created.
The aerodynamic coefficient (Cx) of the 2017 Micra is 0.29, except in the versions with the equipment level Tekna, in which it is 0.30 because they have as a series tires wider (they measure 205 mm of width instead Of 195. This is the fifth generation of Micra. The design of its body is very different from the one of the Micra 2014. Some characteristic elements are a rear spoiler (Nissan says that it improves the aerodynamics) or the shooters of the rear doors camouflaged in the later pillars.
